MAGAZINE
Sardines is the first ever professionally produced
magazine to be published exclusively for the amateur theatre community
across Greater London and its surrounding areas.
There are estimated to be at least five hundred
amateur societies - representing some 60,000 people - scattered all
over the region producing all genres of the arts. From Dramas, Comedies, Thrillers and the Classics ...to Musicals, Ballets, Concerts and Choral Recitals.
Whether they perform in the local scout hut, the
church hall, a dedicated fringe venue or their own theatre ...they all
form part of the new Sardines family.
goalS
To bring together this vibrant community under one
umbrella.
To form a network for societies to interact and
communicate with each other.
To provide a central point of contact for
societies and their audiences to access societies’ details as
well as information on productions across London.
To bring a fresh, modern, informative and
entertaining approach to this very British institution that is amateur
performance.
