Newly released by Sir, Cameron Mackintosh, and
specially adapted & licensed by Josef Weinberger Ltd., Les
Misérables School Edition is now available for schools, enabling
them to stage one of the most successful musicals of all time - seen
now by some fifty million people all over the world. West Wickham
Operatic Society has teamed up with three local schools (Langley Park
School for Girls, Langley Park School for Boys and Ravens Wood School)
to present this epic musical production with seventy talented students,
a full orchestra and a full set and costumes designed for the
production.
The event, directed by Kevin Gauntlett, will take
place from 8th - 12th July in the grounds of Langley Park School for
Girls, close to Bromley, in ‘The Courtyard Theatre’
purpose-built for the production, housing six hundred raked seats,
full-size stage, full set, lighting & sound and a twenty-two piece
orchestra.
