BCP are delighted to announce forthcoming auditions for our July 2022 production of The Girl on the Train.
Based on the hugely successful novel by Paula Hawkins – adapted for the stage by Rachel Wagstaff and Duncan Abel – this fast moving, gripping thriller is coming to The Mill Arts Centre in July 2022 and here is your chance to be involved in the production.
PLOT SUMMARY
Rachel drinks heavily. She has lost her job. Her ex-husband is happily re-married. Her only escape is the perfect couple she watches through the train window every day. They are happy and in love … or so it seems. One morning, she sees something shocking. When she discovers the woman she has been watching – Megan – has suddenly disappeared, she finds herself as a witness and more alarmingly a suspect.
Told through a series of flashbacks the events of the fateful Saturday when Megan disappeared are gradually revealed as is Rachel’s memory of that same night and her involvement in it – and its unexpected conclusion.

Age range for the characters is 20s to 40s. Detective Gaskill can be any age/gender.
There will be a pre-audition read through on Thursday 17th March and Auditions are on 22nd and 24th March 2022 – all at The Mill Arts Centre, Banbury,7.30pm.
You do not have to be a member to attend the read through or audition but will need to join if cast. Performance Dates are 20-23 July 2022. You will need to be available for Pre-Tech, Technical & Dress Rehearsals on 17, 18 and 19 July 2022. Membership option details can be found on the BCP website
