9 TO 5: THE MUSICAL
With a score by the Queen of Country, ‘9 to 5: the Musical’ tells the story of three colleagues pushed to boiling point by their sexist and egotistical boss. Concocting a plan to kidnap and turn the tables on their despicable manager Franklin Hart, will the ladies manage to reform their office – or will events unravel when the CEO pays an unexpected visit?
Mayhem and the 9 to 5 creative team want to build a show and a membership that is reflective of our community. We’d love to encourage all auditionees to audition for the roles you feel best suit your skills and talents. 9 to 5 is a positive, fun-filled show with a great message, and we’ll be looking to cast a group of diverse performers to tell that story. We’re looking for a cast of approximately 24 and depending on the group chosen, we will tailor our creative choices around you. Even though there are a number of named lead roles, the show is very much an ensemble piece and we will be choosing a group of people who work together as a whole.
