Amateur production reading ties for first place in New York virtual play festival

During lockdown Alex Perry linked up with other theatre enthusiasts in a group called Caravan Productions which produced a virtual play.
First Baby was entered into The Equity Library Theater of New York Winter 2021 play festival and was subsequently voted best play (tie).
Alex told Sardines: “Virtual theatre in lockdown has been tough compared to doing shows in front of a live audience, but I have met people I would not otherwise have linked up with and this accolade is a real bonus.”
