And in case you might need convincing, here’s just some of what Ealing’s Questors Theatre has been up to during lockdown.

One of the UK’s largest and most respected amateur theatres, Questors Theatre in Ealing, offered an entire weekly schedule of online initiatives:

MON – Monday Musings:
Images from past shows posted across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram.
TUE – Bridging the Gap:
Email what you’ve been up to, with submissions posted on the Questors’ socials and website.
WEDBridging the Gap QYT:
Activities for children and members Questors Youth Theatre are posted on the website. QLive Workshops on Instagram (30-minute masterclasses).
THU – Weekly newsletter.
FRI – Scenes in Soltitude:
Programme of recorded pieces written, directed and acted by members, starting with short monologues. Videos posted on Questors’ socials and YouTube.
SAT & SUN – Other activities over the weekend were posted here.

STOP PRESS: Live performances will restart in Ealing in Questors’ outdoor courtyard throughout the Aug bank holiday (29-31), with a medley of abridged plays by Shakespeare.
