I was born in Ulverston, Cumbria and subsequently worked in the NHS as a Clinical Psychologist. My love of amateur theatre was first inspired by seeing my father & sister perform in local shows. Not a performer myself I prefer to stay on the other side of the footlights, and so far have written 3 novels and have published 2 books about the history of theatre and the performing arts in the South Furness area.
