Treasure Island

A well written script of a well known tale always helps, and when the cast enjoy performing it as well then you stand a good chance.

The feedback from the audiences confirmed our hopes, it went down a storm. In fact we have quotes of “that was the best panto the Players have ever done”!

The storyline follows the book quite well, and the actors gave it their best. There were the usual “moments” – a door opened and the actor came in followed by the sound effect of knocking at the door was a classic which got a roar. The standard of the ad-libbing was also excellent, really involving the audience from the start.

This was a really good evenings entertainment, looking forward to the next one already.
