A Christmas Carol

West Kirby Musical Theatre Company (WKMTC) are staging a new musical version of the timeless Dickens’ Christmas classic: A Christmas Carol at the Gladstone Theatre, Port Sunlight, Wirral CH62 4XB from Wednesday 9th to Saturday 12th November 2022. Performances are nightly at 7:30pm save for the Saturday performance which is a matinee at 2:00pm.

For many around the world Christmas isn’t Christmas without revisiting the well loved tale of the penny-pinching miser, Ebenezer Scrooge and the awakening of his long forgotten festive spirit.

With the assistance of three special ghosts Scrooge is taken on a journey through his past, present and future to find the importance of friendship, family and love. Bringing the atmosphere of Victorian Christmas traditions to the stage this vibrant and joyous musical is filled with rousing musical numbers, splendid costumes and comedic Bah Humbugs!

Filled with joy, laughter and heartbreaking moments and with a cavalcade of colourful Dickensian characters and a host of ghostly guardians this hugely entertaining new musical adaptation of Dickens’ classic Christmas tale promises something for everyone, both young and old.
