FINALLY – BACK ON THE STAGE!

In a brand new and exciting venture in association with Red by Night on the Waterfront at Merry Hill, Dudley, A Comedy Theatre Group are proud to present the first ever live theatre performance hosted by this venue featuring a brand new play written by local playwrights/ directors Phill and Laura Liptrot and performed by actors from the area.

On Monday 13^th & Tuesday 14^th June 2022 – GOTTA GET AWAY – A comedy drama which sees a couple trying to rekindle the lost passion of their marriage, newly-weds off on their honeymoon, and a pair who have never been abroad before – or even on a plane – all off to glorious Spain for a much needed long weekend of sun, sangria and…dancing!

Three very different couples are set for a wonderful holiday, but throw in a delayed flight, the wrong sort of clouds, a few bottles of vodka, an incompetent check in desk and some mislaid tickets to create a rather shambolic airport departure lounge.

Personality clashes abound, secrets and home truths are revealed and some unlikely friendships are made.

Will it be the trip of a lifetime or the holiday from hell?
