Sleeping Beauty – a Pantomime
After a difficult couple of years for everyone, Ingatestone Musical & Operetta Group are thrilled to welcome you back to live theatre with our new production of “Sleeping Beauty”.
In 2019 IMOG won the NODA East award for “Best Pantomime” and the same team are now back with this hilarious, fun-filled new pantomime for all the family.
Join King Nobby & Queen Dotty as they celebrate the christening of their baby daughter Aurora, which threatens to take a turn for the worse with the arrival of evil Carabosse & her sidekick Spindleshanks the cat, who places a curse on the new child. Fairy Peaceful & her troupe of friendly fairies do their best to protect Aurora by ensuring that the princess will not die, but instead sleep for 100 years along with the rest of her family. Will the handsome Prince find his way to save her or will evil win the day… you’ll have to find out for yourselves!
Performances are at Ingatestone & Fryerning Community Club Theatre, High St, Ingatestone on Friday 28 January at 7.30pm, Saturday 29 January at 1.30pm & 6.30pm and Sunday 30 January at 1.30pm.
