June 1944: meteorologist Captain James Stagg has the task of predicting the weather for what would become one of the most important missions of World War II.  His word will trigger the go-ahead for the Allies’ invasion of Normandy.  Get it right and he will have played a key role in one of the most successful military assignments ever attempted.  Get it wrong, and he’ll be responsible for the death of thousands of young men.  While battling powerful counterparts, Stagg must do all he can to convince General Eisenhower, the man who will make the ultimate decision.

Our major revival of actor and writer David Haig’s tense and gripping play commemorates 80 years since the incredible events of D-Day.  The original production garnered five-star reviews in The Observer, Evening Standard and The Daily Telegraph, who called it “funny, tense and deeply affecting… outstanding”.
