Our aim is to nurture and develop young potential through singing, acting and dance classes in Oxted, stretching young imaginations and building confidence.
Open every weekend during term time and workshops during the school holidays, come join the fun! Stagecoach Oxted runs drama classes, dance classes and singing classes within Hazelwood School, Wolfs Hill, Limpsfield, Surrey, RH8 0QU – attracting children from Kent and Surrey, including the surrounding villages of Westerham and Woldingham.We offer a safe environment where children aged 4 to 6 and 6 to 18 receive quality training in the performing arts. We welcome new students of all ages and abilities. Many children join us with no previous experience and all we ask is that they are enthusiastic and keen to learn.
Oxted Stagecoach students thrive in an environment where creativity is nurtured and technique and style are developed each week. We teach students to act, sing and dance and then watch as they become more confident, poised and self-assured. These are indeed skills for life!
Children Aged 6-18 Years
Your child will participate in the three disciplines of the performing arts in a weekly three hour session. Children are split into three groups of similar ages and study each discipline for one hour in detail. Children Aged 4-6 Years
‘Early Stages’ will introduce your child to drama classes, dance classes and singing classes in a 90 minute session, split into 30 minute classes. Classes are restricted to 15 children, allowing us to nurture young talent whilst encouraging and inspiring those who might need additional confidence. Melinda has over 14 years experience as Principal of Stagecoach Oxted, providing drama classes, dance classes and singing classes. Being a trained opera singer has allowed Melinda to understand the importance of being able to sing, act and dance in performance to portray the character and tell a story through music.
Having performed in a variety of roles as an actress and singer, most recently Melinda has taken part in the London Opera Vocal classes at the National Opera Studio. Her talents extend to organising high profile charity concerts and having extensive contacts in the local theatrical world. Children Aged 6-18 Years

We provide performance opportunities at the school twice a year. Our next big performance is based on “Rock Music”. This term is in preparation for our next show. For those who just love to perform there is also a Performance Troupe, a Regional Choir and an annual Summer Workshop called Easy Stages. Many of our students have also been involved in professional productions through the Stagecoach Agency, including films, TV commercials and West End Shows. We are all inclusive, have achievement awards, enter exams and our fees are approx £8 per hour.
