For theatre... online, non-professional, amateur

This Halloween, join us for a brand new take on Mary Shelley’s classic gothic horror, Frankenstein. Adapted for the stage by internationally acclaimed stage & screen writer, Laura Turner (Wuthering Heights) this new version, written specifically for The Blue Room, brings a female Dr Frankenstein to the fore. What is the relationship between Dr Frankenstein and the life she creates? What pressures does she face in the world and the scientific community that drive her to this horrific discovery and is evil in our nature or our nurture?

With stunning live music, lighting and sound effects combining to create an atmosphere of beautiful horror, Frankenstein promises to be an incredible show and a extraordinary new look at this enduring classic.
