Irish-born actor, James Hayes, now eighty years old, came to England in the early 60s and joined Laurence Olivier’s brsnd-new National Theatre. Since then he has appeared in more NT productions than any other living actor. He can also sing and has also appeared in a number of high-profile musicals! Right now, he is playing Mr Justice Wainwright in Agatha Christie’s Witness for the Prosecution at London’s County Hall. The current cast is the production’s seventh to grace the show’s location.
